About Mishoe Insurance
Founded in 1987.
Wayne Mishoe began Mishoe Insurance as an independent agent in 1987. Growing up on his family’s farm, in Williamsburg County, gave him a passion for agriculture that led him to continue working in the industry. Along with his family’s farm, Wayne worked in a tobacco warehouse, managed a plantation, and adjusted crops through the Federal Crop System before deciding to begin Mishoe Insurance.
Continuing to Serve.
Through the years, the company grew by Wayne’s philosophy of putting himself in the farmer’s shoes. Wayne’s son, Chris Mishoe, began working with his father in 2011 after he graduated from Clemson. Today the two own and operate the business with two other agents and an office professional. The company prides itself in its commitment to analyzing their farmers operations to decide what works best for each individualized farm. Mishoe Insurance is excited about the future as they remain focused on service and dedication to their farmers.
